Abstract
Oroantral fistula, an epithelialized communication between the oral cavity and the maxillary sinus, can occur after extraction of molars and are sometimes associated with chronic maxillary sinusitis, osteoradionecrosis, tumor resection, and dental implant failure in the atrophied posterior maxilla. Bone graft in the oroantral fistula was necessary for an appropriate bone height and quality to support implants and endure the masticatory force. For this purpose, autogenous bone harvested from the patient was known as the best choice, but there are disadvantages of requiring a secondary surgical procedure and limited amount. In addition, allograft, xenograft has many disadvantages of the high price and infection anxiety. To solve this problem by using autogenous tooth bone graft material was developed. We performed the sinus lifting and bone graft procedure inserting autogenous tooth bone in the defect site and hereby report the results of successful bone graft and implant installation. So, report the results with the literature.
